all over

all over these instruments are very precious so everyone should try to preserve it and try to learn it.it is not said that we should forget abot modernization but we must also know the valu of old music.playing guitar and electronic devices is common these days so this blog is for the preservation of traditional music and musical instruments.

saeng-hwang

saeng hwang is a traditional korean wind instrument.it is made up of 17 bamboo pieces each with a metal free reed mounted vertically in a windchest.
this is an old instrument which most of the people even it's native have forgotten. but korea is trying to preserve this instrument so they are organising different cultural programmes which includes this instrument and even shows their old traditions.
this is really very old instrument so it's hard to know about it more.

koto

koto is the national instrument of japan.it is the traditional stringed istrument in japan.it is said that it is introduced in japan from china.the history of koto dates back to the 16th century.

it is typically made up of Paulownia wood.the treatment of the wood before making the koto varies trmendeously.one koto maker seasons the wood for near about a year onthe roof of the house.it may or may not be decorated by metal figures,totrise shells,ivory etc.

guqin

guquin, a vey traditional chinese musical instrument is a very quite instrument with range of about 4 octave and it's open strings are tuned in the bass resistor.in this instrument souns are produced by plucking open strings,stopped strings and harmonics.it's music can be catorized by 3 different sounds. 1st scattred sound which is produced by plucking the required string to the sound an open note.2nd is floating sound which is also harmonics,in which payer lightly touches the string with one or more fingure of theleft hand at a position indicated by dots,pluck and life.the 3rd is stopped sound.for producing this sound player has to press on a string with a finger or thumb on the left hand until it connects with surface board and then pluck.

sitar

sitar is the combination of two words, sih + tar,which means 'three strings'.it is predicted that the evolution of Sitar was by 3000 years ago.
a sitar can have 18,19 or 20 strings which of 6 or 7 run over curved,raised frets and the remaining are sympathetic strings.the frets are movable for allowing fine tuning.the instruments has 2 brigdes: the large bridge for playing and the small bridge for sympathetic strings.the bridges arefixed to main resonating chamber at the base of the instrument,some sitars also have a secondary resonator near the top of the hollow neck.teak wood is the material used in construction which is a variation of mahogany for the neck and face plate and gourds for resonating chambers.it's bridges are made up of deer horn,ebony or even sometimes from camel bone.



the instrument is balanced between the player's left foot and right knee.the hands move freely without to carry any of the instruments weight.it is very decorative instrument which is very popular in whole india.




panche baja

Nepal is a developing country.it is also rich in musical instruments.one of the most important musical instrument inside nepali culture is panche baja.it consist of or it is the combination of  6 musical instruments.the panche baja includes jhyali,tyamko,damaha,narsiha,shehnai and karnal.in English words they are known as cybals,small kettledrum,long shaped trumpet,a folk oboe and a wide-mouthed and straight trumpet respectively.


This traditional Nepali musical instruments are played during holy ceremonies like marriage and brathamanda (it is a ceremony done for male by balding their head and performing puja). These instruments are previously played by untouchable caste in Hindu culture known as Dalits which includes Damai and Gaine.
  

Different instruments

as told earlier music is way of producing quality sound using various mediums .such mediums are different in different countries.in this blog i will try to describe as much instruments i can and which will also help the people to know and learn about various instruments of different countries all over the world.
  most common examples of music are guitar,piano,drum which are most common and most known all over the world.in my opinion there are no any person left who do not know about these instruments.in this 21st century modern music are really popular among the youngsters and these music has popularized  these instruments.as music is also stepping up with generation to generation different other various instruments are are being created.in this blog you will know about some of the classic musical instruments and classic music which are going to be gone.
